Privacy Policy

Emre Açanal operates the VoiceFlow AI app (the “App”). This privacy policy explains what data the App collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the VoiceFlow AI iOS app and to this website.

1. Summary

You do not need an account to use the App. I never ask for your name, email address, or phone number, and I never see your payment details.

The App does collect data. To keep track of your token balance and subscription it uses a randomly generated identifier that is created on your device, and it collects usage, performance and diagnostic data to understand how the App is used, to keep it fast and reliable, and to show the adverts you choose to watch. That identifier is not your name, but it is persistent, so the usage data described below is treated as personal data and the App Store privacy label reports it as linked to you.

The text and audio you submit are sent to AI providers to produce the result you asked for. They are not stored on my servers.

2. Information I Collect

  • Identifiers. A randomly generated app user identifier created on your device, and the device and advertising identifiers used by the analytics and advertising services listed in section 7. The identifier the analytics service assigns to your installation is stored with your token record, so the two can be matched. None of these are linked to your name or email address.
  • Usage data. Which tools and screens you open and for how long, your progress through the introduction, interactions with the store page, actions such as playing, sharing or deleting a result, settings you change, and a record of each generation you run. A generation record describes the shape of the request, such as the tool used, the voice and model you chose, an approximate length or duration range, how long it took, and why it failed if it did. It never contains what you wrote, said, or heard.
  • Token and subscription data. Your token balance, plan, which products you have purchased, each change to your balance and what caused it (for example a purchase, a renewal, a rewarded advert, or your weekly free tokens), how many tokens each tool has used, the date your record was created, and the option you selected during the introduction. Payments are processed by Apple; I receive confirmation that a purchase happened and never receive your card or account details.
  • Content you submit. The text, prompts, and audio you choose to send for processing. See section 4.
  • Device, performance and diagnostic data. Device model, operating system version, App version, and language, how long the App takes to start and to return a result, and crash and error reports, collected by the App and by the analytics and advertising services.
  • Approximate location. A country or region estimated from your IP address by those same services. The App does not request or use precise location.

3. What I Do Not Collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address, unless you choose to email me.
  • Payment card or bank details. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple.
  • Precise or GPS location.
  • Your contacts, calendar, health data, or photo library contents.
  • Images from your camera or photo library. Text recognition for the document scanner runs entirely on your device, and the images never leave your phone.

The App does not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites, does not use the advertising identifier for that purpose, and does not sell your data or share it with data brokers.

4. Content You Submit

When you use a tool, the input for that tool is sent to my server and passed to the AI provider that performs the work: the text for Text to Speech and Dialogue, your prompt for Sound Effects, your message for Ask AI (and the transcript, when you chat about one), and the audio you record or import for Speech to Text and Voice Isolator. Text you translate is sent to a translation service.

This content is used only to return the result you asked for. It is not stored on my servers, not used to build a profile of you, and not used to train any model by me. Audio and transcripts you generate are saved on your device, not on my servers, and are removed when you delete them or delete the App.

The AI providers listed in section 7 process this content under their own privacy policies, which may include retaining it briefly for abuse monitoring. If you would rather a piece of text or audio were not processed by a third party, do not submit it to the App.

5. Analytics

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used and where people run into trouble, so I can decide what to improve. The events it records are described in section 2: they cover which screens and tools you open, the shape and outcome of the generations you run, changes to your token balance, and how you move through the store page. They do not include the text or audio you submit.

These events are associated with the randomly generated identifier described in section 2, which lets me see, for example, that people who try one tool tend to go on to another. Analytics is disabled in development and test builds, including TestFlight.

My server also keeps a short record of each request it handles: the tool, the size of the input, how long it took, and whether it succeeded, linked to the same identifier. It never records the content of the request.

6. Advertising

The App only shows an advert when you choose to watch a rewarded video to earn free tokens. Adverts are provided by Google AdMob, which collects device identifiers, approximate location, information about the adverts you are shown, and crash and performance reports from its own code.

The App does not present the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not use your device’s advertising identifier, so the adverts you see are not personalised to you across other apps.

7. Service Providers and International Transfers

I share data with the following providers only to the extent needed to run the App. Each has its own privacy policy, which I encourage you to read.

  • ElevenLabs: speech generation, transcription, sound effects, and voice isolation. Privacy policy
  • OpenAI: the Ask AI feature. Privacy policy
  • Google: cloud hosting, database and reporting, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob, and the Cloud Translation service. Privacy policy
  • RevenueCat: manages subscription and purchase status. Privacy policy
  • Apple: processes all payments and provides the App Store. Privacy policy

My servers are hosted in the European Union. Some of the providers above operate globally, so your data may be processed in other countries, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their own policies.

8. How Long Data Is Kept

  • Content you submit is not retained on my servers once your result has been returned.
  • Your token and subscription record is kept for as long as you use the App, because it is what preserves your balance and your plan across launches and reinstalls.
  • Server request records are kept in my server logs for a short period, currently about 30 days.
  • Analytics and advertising data is retained by Google under its own retention settings, currently a rolling period of up to fourteen months for the event-level data.
  • Reporting copies. A copy of the analytics events and of your purchase history is kept in my own Google Cloud project in the European Union to build reports, until it is no longer needed for that purpose. You can ask me to delete it at any time (see section 9).

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. To exercise any of these, email me at wavergedev@gmail.com and I will help you identify your record and act on your request.

You can also limit collection yourself. Deleting the App removes everything stored on your device, including your generation history. You can reset or limit the advertising identifier in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, and you can decline or later revoke the microphone and camera permissions in iOS Settings without losing access to the rest of the App.

Because the App has no sign-in, I cannot connect a request to a person without the identifier held on your device, so please write from a device that still has the App installed where possible.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the App and provided data, please contact me and I will delete it.

11. Token Purchases & Expiry Policy

Purchased additional tokens do not have an expiry date and can be used at any time.

Premium tokens granted as part of a subscription or promotional offer may have usage limitations or expiration dates, depending on the terms of the offer. Users should refer to the specific subscription details for more information.

If the App is removed from the App Store in the future, unused additional tokens and premium tokens will not be refundable or transferable. It is the user’s responsibility to use their tokens while the App remains available.

12. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to the systems that hold it is restricted. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so while I implement commercially acceptable means to protect your data, I cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top.
